Car plates and outfits

It has been a long week so far even though I'm somewhat half way through the week I'm already tired. :'P

My sister and I went to the fabric store the other day to pick up some stuff. I can't remember if it was on our way home or there when we saw a license place that read dorks. I took a picture of it but I'm pretty sure it's against the law to take them or post them up anywhere. Soooo (Dx) lol, I know I get called a dork a lot. It's usually from one person. It gets annoying. Have you ever heard the same thing over and over again to the point it makes you pull your hair out? I mind it, MIND IT A LOT. Anywaysss, after I saw the plate I was giggling all over the place. I don't have anything against dorks or anything ... I'm going to stop talking about it now. :'/

After I made the dress I made an outfit for it. I don't usually wear lolita on a daily basis so my skills are kind of bad. First attempt in a long time, here you go!

It's my first time every doing make up like this. On occasion when I dress in a lolita inspired outfit I usually just wear naturally make up or something.
Anyway here you go!

Revisited (2/20/11

Yo! 3 days ago I had the time to revisit a certain costume/cosplay I did way back in December. I got to say as I did it, I had some crazy nostalgia come over me. The time that I wore the outfit was great! It was the first time I had ever attended SuperCon and the first time I did a full on costume. Besides the 4 in the morning (rushed) Sora cosplay. Now that cosplay was good, not great, just good. I can't remember what I used for my hair or how inaccurate it was. However, I still enjoyed parading around like a bad-ass 16? year old who got his Keyblade taken away for inappropriate use. Also ... picking up ladies too. That was fun. I'm getting sidetracked. :'P

It's kind of laying out in piles but you get the gist of it~

As I was going through I remember the pain I had in my ankles, the place where the costume fell apart. When I looked at the details I noticed how semi-awful the paint job was and everything. The outfit was my first costume so at first I was like this is amazing! OMG!!!!111!!! + excitement over 9000. Now, as I look back on it it's okay but not great, lol. I WILL ATTEMPT TO FIX THIS OR DO IT AGAIN. I give my myself props for making such a costume in a month. I didn't care for working until the night of SuperCon.

When I was looking at the costume and remembering the ones before, I enjoyed everything about wearing them. The experiences I had, the feeling of accomplishment, that exhausted feeling at the end of a successful day, and the overall time I spent there. It makes me happy, and I can't wait to get myself into more of these things. I got to admit cosplaying is more fun then wearing Lolita. ;'D

I'm super excited to just make stuff and get my hands dirty. I don't know why I have such excitement for doing that but hey, creativity never felt so good! I hope to start real soon, seeing how I have a convention in a couple months. Again, I'm excited and can't wait~

M.L.K. (Martin Luther King)

Once upon a time a friend of mine mistook this day for 'Milk' Day. He paraded around for awhile supporting 'Milk'! Then he was faced with the truth in his first period class. He announced, " I hope everyone's drinking milk!". The class laughed, he was confused, obviously. A girl stood up and told him MLK stood for Martin Luther King, not Milk. He slumped in his seat embarrassed, while the class continued to laugh it up. Some good times in middle school. C':

SuperCon 2010:: Master Chief

So I attended a lovely con called, 'SuperCon'. Before that I decided to plan out a certain costume/cosplay just for the event. Going about it was easier than the work. So what was I? Master Chief! My costume/cosplay wasn't the best, nor was it the worst. Yes, I could of done more, and I could of planned it a bit better. Overall, I was completely satisfied with it. I plan to make another one. Also, document the experience. C': I will say this, I died in this costumed. (Not literally) As I wore it the feet/shoes were rubbing my the front part of my ankles like no tomorrow. Later that night I saw the wounds!

I have so many stories to tell while I was in this outfit.

I tried to run from a bee, that was a challenge. I know your not suppose to run from them. My ankles were already hurting. ;m; They started hurting ... maybe 6-8 mins into wearing the costume. Bad idea to park in a back parking lot and walk. (LoL)
Then the bee came around again and got in my suit. Major freak out. Then he got out and buzzed around. HE SAT ON MY ARM. I was seriously panicked. When the bee flew away I went on inside away from the danger.

Got my picture taken. I really enjoyed the reaction I got when they realized what gender I was.

The costume did start falling apart though. The products I used were not lasting as long as someone said. Big disappoint. It was a good thing I bought my glue gun, even though it wasn't highly suggested by a few people. It did hold it together longer. :'D

Overall, I loved the costume. Didn't enjoy it falling apart on me or the wounds! But hey, for my first time costume/cosplay it fulfilled it's purpose. :'3
